  1. Dearest Tommy,
My big brother, best friend and, yes, our hero. You are such a good, good man. A caring, thoughtful, sweet, kind, supportive, brave, capable man with a gigantic heart and a wonderful sense of humor; a steady and calm voice in any storm. Your brotherly love lifts me up and holds me every day. How lucky and blessed I am the universe gave me you as my big brother! You are an amazing father and grandfather, family member and friend who blesses the lives of all who know you. You are deeply loved and will be so greatly missed every day. So greatly missed. We will hold you in our hearts every day. Goodbye for now. It's only goodbye for now. So much love, Di And much love from Terrence and Jesse.

    1. Diane,
I am so sorry for your loss. So many of us have been on the phone during the past few days remembering the wonderful qualities of your brother, Tom. I am so happy that Ray and I were able to spend an afternoon with Tommy just a few weeks ago. He really enjoyed the visit.

  2. One of the good things about getting older is that you can look back on life and realize who was truly your. ‘ BEST FRIEND. ‘
Tom and I have been through 70 years of life together!!

  3. Tom was my supervisor and a mentor. He looked out for me on patrol and helped me get into the detail that I always wanted. He had a great sense of humor, once you got to know him. We spent many days fishing on the Capt Lou together. May He RIP
