Maryann Lowes, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister, passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on July 24, 1960, Maryann lived a life defined by love, generosity, and an unshakable strength that carried her through every challenge she faced.
To know Maryann was to feel immediately at home. She had a gift for making everyone around her feel welcomed and cherished, and her warmth filled every room she entered. She was a massive presence in the lives of all who knew her — not just in spirit, but in the way she poured herself into the people she loved. Whether she was hosting a family gathering, pulling a fresh batch of baked goods from the oven, crocheting with care, or working on her latest craft, Maryann’s hands were always busy creating something for someone else.
She faced life’s obstacles with quiet courage and came out stronger every time, an example to her family of what it means to keep going with grace.
Maryann is survived by her devoted husband, Frederick Lowes; her children, Jonathan Lowes and his wife Rebecca, Michael Lowes and his wife Emma, and Daniella Silva and her husband Adrian; her beloved granddaughter, Adelina Silva; and her sisters, Susan Fanelli and her husband Ron, and Diane Santa Lucia and her husband Jimmy.
She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be felt for generations to come.

Maryann had an aura that just made you feel immediately comfortable. I was amazed by her strength and ability to be pleasant throughout the difficult times she endured. In the few years I have know her she was truly an inspiration to me. I don’t think I have ever met someone who could tolerate so much and still want to make you smile. What a generous and loving soul. Thank you Maryann, for the valuable lessons you have taught me in such a short time. I’m truly looking forward to seeing you again, and I know I will because I want to so much.
