Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, businesswoman, and friend whose life was defined by her strength, generosity, determination, and commitment to the people and community she loved.
She was the beloved wife of Michael Natilli Jr., and a loving mother to Michael A. Natilli and daughter-in-law Angelica Cintron-Natilli. She was a cherished grandmother to Valentina A. Natilli, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Diane was a dedicated entrepreneur and the owner and proprietor of Midbury Industries, a plastic manufacturing company she led for more than five decades. Since 1971, she devoted herself to building the business and establishing a respected presence in the plastics manufacturing industry through her hard work, determination, and leadership.
Her professional contributions extended beyond her own company. Diane was a Past President of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), New York Section, where she was a respected member of the plastics industry and contributed her knowledge, leadership, and experience to the professional community.
Her commitment to her community extended well beyond her professional life. Diane was deeply involved in Scouting, giving more than ten years of service to Cub Pack 55 and Scout Troop 55. Scouting held a particularly special place in Diane’s heart, as she proudly supported her son, Michael A. Natilli, who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. She continued to give her time and support to the organization, helping encourage and guide young people through their Scouting journey.
In recognition of her many accomplishments and contributions, Diane was recently honored by Congressman Ed Ra as a “Woman of Distinction.” This recognition was a fitting tribute to a woman who dedicated her life to her family, her profession, and her community.
Diane and her husband, Michael, were also members of the Brooklyn Schutzen Corps, and Diane was a member of the Brooklyn Schutzen Damen. Together, they participated in many cultural events and celebrations, forming lasting friendships and sharing in traditions that brought great joy and meaning to their lives.
Above all, Diane will be remembered for the love she gave to her family, the strength with which she lived her life, and the many people whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, leadership, perseverance, and service that will continue through her family and the many people fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
