My Mom, Lorraine Formont passed away on August 27th 2026.
She was born in 1941 in Glen Cove New York and grew up in a family of eight siblings. She married my dad and had me, an only child in 1967. We had a great middle class life growing up in East Rockaway, NY and my parents loved the town and were very active in the community. My dad was trustee and Mayor in the 90’s into the 2000’s and she was my dad’s biggest supporter.
She loved Elvis Presley and the NY Yankees especially Mickey Mantle. She put a lot of time and effort into the betterment of the Village of East Rockaway, the town she loved. She is survived by myself and her granddaughters Hailey and Kaycee, nephews Andrew Pagliaro and Joseph Pagliaro and his wife Sharon, and niece Donna Pagliaro. On my dad’s side, Ethel Gilloon, Kenny and Danny Gilloon.
