Joseph “Grandpop” Williams Sr, 87, passed away peacefully on April 8th after a long struggle with cancer surrounded by his wife, children, and son-in-law.

 

Joseph was born September 1st, 1938 to Phoebe and Joseph in Brooklyn, NY. He had a love of trains, boats, travel, photography, woodworking, and above all, his family. He was known for his sense of humor and will be remembered by his crazy jokes.

 

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Diane Williams; son Joseph Williams Jr. and wife Maureen; daughter Laura Bonacasa and husband Dino. He is survived by his brother Martin Sechehay and wife Lois. He was a devoted Grandpop to Joseph Williams III and wife Danielle; Sean Williams and wife Jenny; Victoria Bonacasa, Jessica Bonacasa, Amanda Bonacasa, and Dino Bonacasa Jr. He was a loving great grandfather to Helen
