Rosemarie Polley (Romano), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 31, 1955, in Valley Stream, NY to Neil and Mary Romano. She married Joseph Polley, October 31, 1981, in Hewlett, NY.
She dedicated her life initially as a secretary and worked her way to becoming a sales assistant, working tirelessly at Alex. Brown & Sons – Raymond James for 47 years. Her commitment and passion for her work touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those she encountered.
She was a devout Catholic at St. Joseph’s Church, finding solace and strength in her faith throughout her life’s journey. Rory pursued her education with diligence, graduating from The Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Manhattan.
In her free time, Rory enjoyed reading, watching TV, spending time with her family, and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Throughout her life, Rory achieved many notable milestones and received numerous awards, but her greatest accomplishments were the love and devotion she poured into her family.
Rosemarie is survived by her devoted husband Joe Polley, with whom she shared 42 years of love and companionship. She is also survived by her brothers, Richard Romano and Rev. Father Charles Romano, her loving son, Christopher, his spouse, Tina, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Alivia and Maxwell.
