Lieutenant Stephen Conforti, a devoted father, brother, son, and proud member of the New York City Police Department, passed away on October 25, 2025. He was 63 years old.
Born and raised in Elmhurst, Queens, Steve dedicated his life to service, integrity and love for his community. He joined the NYPD in 1984, where he served with honor and distinction, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. His colleagues remember him for his steady leadership, compassion and unwavering commitment to protecting others.
Beyond the badge, Steve was a family man through and through, He cherished every moment spent with his children, siblings, nephews, and all those lucky enough to call him family.
Steve’s legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched, in his family, his friends, and the community he served so faithfully.
We ask you remember him at every baseball game and every Simpsons episode.
