John N. Slattery passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth

and cherished memories.

John was the beloved husband of Evelyn, with whom he just celebrated

60 years of marriage. He was a loving father to his daughter Bernadette and her husband

Jimmy, and to his son John and his wife Laurie.

Family was the center of John’s world, and he found extraordinary joy in his role as

grandfather. He was the fiercely proud and devoted “Poppie” to Thomas, Tara, Makayla,

and Keira, all of whom brought immense brightness to his life.

John is also survived by his dear brother Brendan and his wife Eithne, with whom he shared a

lifetime of sibling bonds and memories.

Known for his steady kindness and integrity, John was a loyal friend to many throughout his

life. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and all who had the pleasure

of knowing him.

In lieu of flowers the family appreciates donations

in John’s memory to a charity or organization of your choice.
