Elaine is the beloved wife of Edward J., A loving mother of Wendy Sirchia (Salvatore) and Dr. Thomas E. Corrado (Helen Hsieh). A devoted grandmother of Valerie Sirchia. A dear sister of Patricia Chappell(Robert). A fond sister-in-law to Carol Kamerer (the late Fred), Lucille Smedile (Tony), and Ellen De Maria (Joe).
We were introduced to Elaine when our daughter started Rhame Ave with Valerie. You could count on Elaine being on the pick up line reading her book an hour early. I would occasionally interrupt her reading because you could always enjoy a pleasant conversation.
My wife Jennifer became a co leader of the Girl Scouts with Wendy and our girls were friends. Wendy and Sal occasionally invited us over for a barbecue and to go swimming. Elaine and Ed would come and join us. Two of the nicest people you could ever meet.
You could always expect a hello and smile from Elaine at any school event. From what we saw Elaine was a wonderful person and a proud grandma.
We are sure she will be spreading her smile, her conversation and a helping hand as she spends eternity in heaven.
